The short but wacky "S" engages in more shredding while "K" follows suit. The first track opens up with a crazy bout of ripping guitar licks while "I" constantly shifts between wild solo sections and soaring lead breaks. The album is split into eight sections, which, surprisingly, have their own sort of vibe to them.

This album wastes no time in hurling scale upon scale and solo upon solo at you. This is exactly the case, as The Miskatonic Scale spends most of its running time shredding. However, as you may be able to realize, such a menacing wall of shredding allows little room for more intricate song sections to blossom. He holds nothing back and allows his wizardry to blossom to its full potential. Big B pulls out what may possibly every trick in the book. This one is just totally insane, it's a completely wild whirlwind of shredding that barely keeps a uniform construction.

Pike 55 is one hell of a Pike, Bucketbots.
